Our Staff

The Staff at the Sunny Center are chosen for their kindness to children and their friendliness. Most staff have a degree or are working on a degree in a child care related field. There will be a staff member at all times that will have a current CPR and First Aid Certification. Our cooks and kitchen staff are required to have a Food Handler Permit and follow other safety precautions.

Staff are required to have minimum of 20 hours of training and a criminal background check yearly. Substitutes and Volunteers after pre service training and a background check may come and help supervise children and play games, and participate in other activities with the children. If they are here more than 10 hours a week then we have them do additional training.

We require our staff to be 18 years or older to work at the Sunny Center.
